How do I add an M3U playlist to the app?

Open the app, go to the Playlists tab and tap the "+ Add" button at the bottom. Select URL (for online playlists), File (for .m3u files on your device) or Xtream (for compatible accounts). Enter a name of your choice and tap Save.

Why is the program guide (EPG) not showing?

Check the following:

  • Did you tap "Refresh EPG" from the playlist ⋮ popup?
  • Have you configured at least one EPG source (custom URL or default per-country source from Settings)?
  • Do the channels in your playlist have the tvg-id field set? Without it the app cannot match the program to the channel.
  • For accounts compatible with the standard remote protocol, EPG is downloaded automatically on refresh.
What is included in the PRO plan?

The PlayStream PRO plan unlocks:

  • Unlimited M3U/M3U8 playlists
  • Unlimited remote accounts
  • Default EPG sources for over 50 countries (multiple selection)
  • All future premium features added to the app

Available in three plans: Monthly (€1.99/month, 7-day free trial), Yearly (€14.99/year) or Lifetime (€39.99 one-time).

How can I cancel a PRO subscription?

Subscriptions are managed directly from your Apple ID or Google account:

  • iOS: iPhone Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → PlayStream PRO → Cancel
  • Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → PlayStream PRO → Cancel

Cancellation must occur at least 24 hours before the automatic renewal. You will retain PRO access until the end of the already paid period.

I changed device: how do I restore my PRO purchase?

On the new device (with the same Apple ID or Google account used for the purchase):

  1. Open the PlayStream M3U app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap "Restore purchases"

PRO status will be reactivated automatically.

Is the app available for Android and Smart TV too?

The iOS version is already available on the App Store. The Android version is coming to Google Play. Dedicated versions for Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) Smart TVs are under development.

Does the app collect my data?

No. PlayStream M3U does not collect any personal data, does not use analytics, does not integrate advertising. All your playlists and preferences are stored exclusively on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Does the app provide playlists or channels?

No. PlayStream M3U is a neutral player: it does not provide, distribute or promote any multimedia content. It is the user's sole responsibility to load playlists of content for which they hold the rights to access and view.

Can I use Xtream Codes playlists?

Yes, the app supports accounts compatible with the standard remote playlist management protocol. Enter server, username and password in the "Add playlist → Xtream" section. Live TV, Movies and TV Series will be available (if present on the server).

Can I cast a channel to Chromecast or AirPlay?

Chromecast and AirPlay support is currently under development and will be available in a future version.
